OK so with help from everyone here I was able to get my wildfire r8 50cc that I grabbed for $200 bucks running great. OK so now it's running awesome and doesn't bog down and shut off but now my a acceleration from a stop seems significantly slower!! Any ideas on why that may be?

Cleaned the carb and it's running great!! Think I'm gonna buy a new petcock, fuel filter and new lines just to be on the safe side

That's the thing though I just took it all apart cleaned tank, carb and adjusted valves. It was running ok for about a week after. But today it just died on way home from work. Then a couple hours later I drained carb and then it started right up. Just took it for a ride it kept bogging and then died again and now won't start.

Ok so my scooter stalled once again and I couldn't get it started for the life of me so after about 2 hours I decided I'll just drain the carb bowl and see what happens. So I fully drained it and then crank it over and it started right up. So what is what could be the problem? Fuel delivery problem? This thing is testing my limits haha!

Yes I've been driving around with no headlight forever. Even passed cops. They don't much care around here. Led should work OK for me

OK so I looked at Walmart and found some LEDs. All they said on them was it was for a 12v system. Comes with pre terminalized wiring harness and illuminated rocker switch.

I have no headlight at all!! Bought this thing on craigslist and wow it was a mess when I got it. Running great now but I need a good headlight assembly cause I can't find one for a wildfire r8 unless it's directly from company but they never answer the phone (you have to call to order). So I need one I can mount on scooter

My wildfire r8 does not have a headlight so obviously I haven't been riding at night. I'd like to though. Anyone know of a good universal headlight? And how do you hook them up?

I don't see the pic of your carb but I would definitely say it's cause you don't have an airbox on. Your carb is sucking in way to much air! Order yourself a airbox and you should be all set. I just had the same issues. Airbox from eBay was $20 shipped and made all the difference.

Haha wow think it's time for a new spark plug boot. It kept falling off. The little metal thing the spark plug clips into came out attached to plug. That's the issue
