Wow where did I get .008? Hey Alley. It's messed up about Rich. I centered the cam and adjusted both valves to .004. I still have some clicking. Readjust?

so I was adjusting the valves because of hard start and could not get the cam to turn using the fan. For some reason it is extremely stiff. I adjusted the valves to .008, started the bike, it didnt start any easier and in one instance of starting the bike I heard a loud knock. I think I might have adjusted the valves wrong as the cam probably needed another turn.
Why is the Cam so hard to turn and the knock is the piston right?

Haha I got a perelli as a good will even exchange for the kendas I destroyed. i took em over to the local bike shop where they performed the surgery in their secret dungeon lab. unfortunately i did not see how they did it but the wheel is still serviceable.

I probably would not buy a kenda either but are you sure it was the fault of the tire as far as the stripped bead? I have no idea of how you are working with your tire installs, are you using tire tools designed for bikes? There are people who love kendas and seem to have no problems with them. 2 in a row seems a little weird. If they all had bad beads I would expect to hear all kinds of crying about kenda's on the internet. A sharp edge on either the rim or the tools is more than likely to blame. Using more force than a tire edge can handle would do it. The tire is to slide over the edge of the rim, and will not stretch to make it go on. The bead of the tire has wire in it to prevent it from stretching over the rim. It has to slide on. I have motorcycle tire irons 8" Tire Irons Ive put tires on before just not on a scooter, and never had these problems. in fact i used to use 2 flat heads and a towel
