Been looking at this scoot for some time. Any benefit buying from them?

I believe amazon is a pretty good sight they have free shipping my sister uses it a lot. I couldn't pull up what scooter you were looking at? So that question not sure what I think? Other than that amazon also has a roko that sight where you can watch some tv channels for free. Pretty nifty.

Never buy from Amazon again, reason? They started sending me another person by the same name stuff as in books, tools etc. They even sent me their invoices with credit card info on it, had I been a crook I could have kept the stuff and took the man with the same name for a ride. Called them 3 times about this, very disturbing and they even said the person who had the same name had the same email and not only did I tell them that was BS if I got another item from them with my and the other persons name and their address and credit cared info on it I was going to my state's attorney generals office with it. No one in Arkansas and Texas will have the same exact email address, not happening, when I asked about the shipping address differences, they had no answer?

I sent the stuff to the real person with a note telling them what was going on and for their safety to change their credit card info and number. They contacted me with a thank you and took legal action against Amazon. A month later my card got hacked with a purchase to who? You got it Amazon.

Story after story about Amazon and their piss poor system, buy a Kindle and watch what happens if you may.

I have never had a bad problem with amazon. Have had several items break, one call to them and problem solved. Some items may be a tad higher but with free shipping it usually comes out good. I bought handle bar risers for the majesty last month, best price I could find, free shipping and 3 days to get here.

Bought a tablet 4-5 months ago, free quick shipping. 5 days after I got it the browser started crashing. I call and they emailed a free shipping label and it went back. I never got around to looking at anymore tablets and since the weather is better it may be next fall when I look again.

I have had 4-5 gift certificates at amazon sent by my daughters for birthday and christmas....way less for them than to buy something local and mail it to me. I am sold on amazon.

Just wondering if its better protection against the item and bad customer service these scooter companies are known for.

I don't know that you would get any more protection buying through Amazon. It ships from another company, and clicking on through to their storefront, it looks like they mostly sell scooter parts. Either they are branching out, or they may be taking orders for another outside scooter warehouse. That said, I order from Amazon all the time. Have had no problems over several years. Only complaint is that if I look something up on amazon, then I will get email ads from them for another month or two advertising the same or similar item, even if I've already bought it. Might be a setting I could change.

Amazon charges twice as much for shipging when selling for another dealer that is how they make extra money. You can usually find the item cheaper elsewhere. Although I have to say my wife orders from them all the time been doing it for YEARS now and not a problem. If something is not right she emails them and they take the merchandise back and refund the money. But it hasn't happened very often that she returns something that she does not like after getting it. But when she does no problem they refund and take the product back.

Make sure you don't have an alias out there with your name and you use a credit card not tied to your bank or you'll be sold on a good lawyer too.
