So I called Scoot Doc in Pasadena,CA. Scoot Doc in Pasadena said that they would not help me because I have a Chinese scooter. Rich from scoot doc Pasadena specifically said "I don't work on Chinese scooters". The frame says it's a 2011 King scooter; the enigine is a LK157QMJ. I have a Mukini carb, an after market exhaust, and a bunch of odds and ends from Home Deopt. As you can imagine, my scooter is moded and far from being Chinese; In fact I would say my scooter is more American than Chinese. Anywho, I just need a new tire, A 130/60-13 to be exact. Can anyone explain to me how to replace a rear tire and where to purchase a decent tire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, HellsPigeon

So a Scooter Doc named Rich said he wouldn't work on a Sinoscooter??! Gaaahd! I have become a SYM snob!! Actually what a pompous wienie! I hope he enjoys living off of the dregs from the brand name scooter shops. Now around here the Kawi shop etc. won't work on a Chinese scoot but they aren't generic repairmen. There's a few independent repairmen and they will work on anything!

I need to replace the front tire on my magnum, it takes the same size 130/60-13. It is a Kenda K761 series. I purchased one from Parts For Scooters,(they have one of the scrolling panels at top of page) along with a valve stem. The tire was $63.99

A pirelli is only 58.99 at the super store, Michelin is 59.99. avon is 47.99, continental is 75, In fact they have 8 that will fit. Those above are all good tires. A pair of tires is all that's between you and the ground and skimping there could get you into the ER.

That aggressive on/off tread really works well, particularly in the rain, good choice! This isn't a tire that you'll find at someplace like the 'Superstore, thank you for the business. Matt

The original still has a lot of good tread after 2k miles picked up something in the side of tread is the reason for changing. it has done good so far, that is why i decided to go with another one.
