Hey guys, I got one in today that looks like the last year's "VIP" scooters. The ones with the scoops on either side of it. PICS COMING SOON, Maybe short video.
There is about and inch of play in the handle bars, in relation to where the front wheel is, Left to Right, not up and down. I think this is the culprit. BUT the front wheel (130/60 13inch) LOOKS like it could be OUT of Round.(EGG-SHAPED).
What do you guys think? THANKS!

The belts separated on my front tire of the same size. Made it look out of round and made it difficult to handle in a turn if not flat out dangerous. Where's the pix? I don't see them. Did you post them yet?

Does it wobble when you brake?

mikey34 If the bars are loose you are going to take the plastic off. The handle bars have a bolt that holds themn to the stem. One other place they get loose is the stem bearings and that is easy to tighten. A tire out of round is easy to see, just put scooter on centerstand and put some weights on the rear seat. Then the front wheel will be off the ground and you can spin it.

I'm 99% sure it's the tire being out of round, I can see a hump in the tire looking at it from the side, the ONLY thing to be done there is replace the tire. Cheapest one I have found is about $33.99. Before S/H. I also have a local shop I MAY use for this. www.jpcycles.com/product/210-0233?utm_source=PLAs&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=&device=c&network=g&matchtype=&gclid=CjgKEAjw-6WcBRCsgNjFy-2OuGYSJADf4R2sniNzZSLM3pMOKnmHdFFaWO8t10hcEiHiAwguxe3Mp_D_BwE\\\\\\\\\\\ On the handle bars, this scooter has a locking option, turning the ignition to the left, bars locked, I think @ some point, some one tried to steal, or just forgot the scooter was locked and moved the alignment. BUT, if hold the wheel with my legs and move the handle bars, I have an inch of play, Easily. I'll post pics of the tear down, tighten, and re-build on this tomorrow.
