You know that thing was invented for BICYCLES right? Bicyclist don't plant there faces like some moped riders?
Just yesterday I had a woman pull out of a Pay Day Loans lot right in front of me. If I hadn't been aware that she wasn't paying attention I could have kissed her thru her mini-vans window.

Guitarman, yes I understand that it was engineered using a bicycle as a platform. But, I don't get your point. Are you suggesting that a crash at say 20 or 30 mph is different when riding a bicycle, scooter, motorcycle or even a skateboard? if yes, how exactly are they different?

I witnessed a guy drop a Triumph Rocket, at a stop light, stopped, and suffered major head injuries.

A bicycle landing on top of your head probably won't hurt as bad as a harley would! (at any speed)

It was designed for a bicycle that does not go as fast as a scooter. What happens if you crash doing 40mph? And there is no face protection on it either. It's not a good design for anything faster than a pedal bike.

It's totally unsafe for the pedal bicyclist as well. Not only no face protection but also no puncture resistance.

Hit an oil slick at slow speed, fall out of the saddle, pop your head sideways on the pavement, brain bleed, 20 minutes later goodbye, hope you had fun. It is just not worth it and I will not go into why I know first hand about this. Wear a helmet at the very least, of course full face is better, but wear a hat. If trying to look cool means that much you just don't get it, you don't belong on two wheels, and you're a pretender.

Additional Brain damage can't be determined cause I was already a mess. (so says my ex) Be smart Look smart Act smart

Yes they are cool but, how much visability is lost due to the graphics? Especially night time and in city lights. I've been in a bus that had similar films on the sides and the visibility was reduced a lot. Especially when they where dirty.

On the Spideys, the eyes are clear. Safe even at night. And the visor graphics are new style with better visibility.
The Spidermans can be used at night, Iron Man and other with full graphics on the visor are not recommended at night.

I think you said your helmet hit in the accident didn't you Will? Think what might have happened. I wear a 3/4 and a full face, it just depends on the temps. I think a good 3/4 is fine although a full face is obviously better protection.

The module helmets are handy, I have an HJC Symax. But the problem with them is that they leak a lot of air. If the weather is nice that really doesn't matter. They are a little heavy too. I like the black Spiderman helmet. Get that one Andy and be a complete geek. Rich
