Not my day.

It is just not my day today, you guys!
I woke up this morning ready to take on the world! But.. My dad had a job for me before I went to work at 12 AM. He needed me to go down the street and wait for ASA Builder Supplies to deliver some material for a job he is going to work. I was told to be there at approximately 9 AM. Come 9 AM, I am there, parked on the side of the street, with my emergency flashers on to indicate that I won't be moving for awhile (until ASA gets there). Come 9:20, still no sign of ASA. 9:40, ASA still hasn't arrived.
9:45: A police car pulls up behind me Welp, there goes my good mood
Apparently somebody called the police on me, saying that there was a "suspicious" white vehicle parked in the neighborhood. Thankfully the cop left me alone after I explained to him that I was waiting on some supplies.
It was 11:20 AM when ASA finally got there, 2 hours and 20 minutes behind schedule. I was half expecting somebody else to call the police on me for sitting there for an hour and a half, thankfully nobody did.
I had to rush home and get ready for work at 12, so I went home, got ready, and made my way to work. I got to work, said my hello's to my co-workers outside, walked inside and said good morning and got ready to work (I was scheduled for 7 hours today). There had been a delay in my check, so I was half expecting to be called into the management office eventually to get paid, and it looked like today was that day, because one of my coworkers told me I was needed in the office.
So I went to the office, where I was promptly taken to the back, handed a check for $300, and told to go home, because I no longer worked there. "It just wasn't working out".
So now I'm unemployed, too.
Today SUCKS

That totally sucks. Decent jobs are hard to find, even for the young. Keep your head up and persevere.

Hurry up and go look around for temp agencies, they send you to random jobs. All you have to do is type up a resume, get an interview and sign some papers and you might just have a job that day.

We've all been canned bro, it stings but it's not the end of the world. How about working for your old man? What happened to the computer biz? Maybe time to go full speed on that. When Cyborg talks about doors opening and closing he's talking about public bathrooms that he hangs out in so ignore that.

I always figured looking for a job was a full time job and was seldom out of work long.

It's possible, but I still wish I had an explanation. You don't simply let someone go without telling them what they did wrong! Right?

It happens all the time. In a right to work state there is no reason legally required.

When life gives you lemons, stuff them down your bra to make your boobs look bigger.
Move on and forget about it. The manager who decided that "It just wasn't working out" did you a favor: you no longer have one of those McJob. You seem to be young and in good healt so get out there and grab the world by the balls!!!
Just don't forget to buy a bra.

I have always believed that if someone gets let-go it's as much the fault of the person that did the hiring. And that the hiring agencies are totally incompetent, better to find one on your own.
