[FACE PLANT FOR LIFE]

Today is the last day for our dog, Rosie. Rosie has a very severe tumor and type of cancer, and it would be torture to keep her here on this earth. We will be putting her down tomorrow morning. Today and tomorrow will be very bad days.

So sorry for you, and your dog Rosie. It does make for a very unpleasant day....have been there more than once myself. Even tho this is a painful thing for you to go through, it won't be for her....and take solace in knowing Rosie's suffering will be no more.....Bob

I was sure I was up against the same thing last friday. I have a great Pyrenees who is will be ten in a month who is terrified of guns and lightning. Last Thursday afternoon he was outside and some one shot a gun. (deer season) any way he ran until he couldn't run after jumping the fence. It wasn't till monday he was able to get up by himself and walk.

They are part of the family and real hard to loose. I know what you are going thru.

Every time we lose one, I tell my wife, 'No more'. But somehow we always end up with another one that worms their way into my heart. Let her go. It's the right thing.

Today was not a day too soon. She is rapidly getting worse. Come 3:30, she won't be in pain anymore. We originally had her scheduled to be put down at 12:30, but the vet that we scheduled with only had a one-stage euthanasia, compared to the more human 2-stage. So 3:30 it is.

Some people are not dog lovers and they'll never understand how much these Animals become parts of our families.... But as a dog owner myself, I can sympathize and know no words will suffice....

So sorry,,, did that last year with our champion corgi and now we found out our big yellow lab has a brain tumor,,, it does suck,,,,

Tumors in general suck at this point...Cancer has taken enough from me in my lifetime. I can't say that I regret putting her to sleep, after all, she was suffering. I know that. So while it makes me feel good that she is not suffering, it's just weird not having her here. The house seems...emptier.
