You might try one more thing, take off the right side fan shroud and turn the flywheel to where the metal bump that tells the cdi to fire is under the pickup (straight up). Take a business card and see that the gap is between a card thickness and two card thicknesses (somewhere between .010 and .025). If that gap is too large the cdi may fire but the spark will be weak. I hate to tell you how long I worked to find that one - everything checked ok!

Congrats on getting yours running! I did replace the cdi on mine (if the CDI is the thing on the other end of the spark plug wire). Maybe it's time to look at flywheel.
No bites on selling mine so I may spend some time on it again.

itlives the unit on the other end of the plug wire is the coil,,,it takes 12v and amplifies it to 30,000+ volts so it will jump the sparkplug gap and ignite the fuel air mix in the cylinder,,,,the cdi is what controls the coil and tells it when to fire,,,chase down that contol wire from the coil to the next "box",,,that would be the cdi
