Maybe his brain is in Jims warehouse

Nothing wrong with Jim's warehouse. It's his supplier that's still a little disorganized. And I wouldn't compare the idiots mind with that. His is totally scrambled.

I in no way was implying the the Icebear warehouse (not Jims) was in disarray. I was only saying that this moron had lost his mind. I apologize for any misunderstanding on my part. Bad analogy

heres my 2c to the chinese factories... hire ONE good translator... and re-write every scooter manual... in plain english.. better still.. use an index from a japanese scooter firm.. and flesh out the 15 page manuals out there... next... hire QA people red tag poorly assembled scooters and have em reworked... next... add $25 or so to the quality parts and eliminate dozens of petty problems... last.. pay employees a little better... I'm gonna guess here.. and I'm pretty sure I'm right.. that some/many scooters assembled get some minor sabotage... not fatal.. but enough to cause purchaser a problem down the road... in summary... for an extra $100 - $200 bucks.. you have a scooter you can be proud to sell...

A good PDI and spending $100 bucks to flesh out the cheaper parts, and you have a scooter you can be proud of, with the peace of mind that comes from doing it yourself and knowing it's done right.

It's all pricepoint stuff,,,spend 2500-3000 on a decent scoot there are less problems by far,,,and even then the so called premium brands have their problems,,,i had a vespa et4 150 i couldn't wait to sell,,,it was a major headache,,and problematical to say the least with service,,,glad it's gone,,,i'll find a chinese gy6 one day for cheap and i'll grab it but i know going in it needs work and parts upgrading,,i think some people have the illusion that when they buy a 50cc scoot for cheap that it's going to be fast and have great acceleration,,,,it just isn't so,,,even the european 50cc 2 strokes need work and parts right out of the box to be a contender,,,the way i see it in america you need 200cc+ to be where you need/want it to be as far as quick and fast ,,,even my stella is weak and needs 500bux to be where i can really be happy with it and it's a $3500 msrp machine,,,but i'm spoiled,,,my dr350 cost a grand used with 1100-1200 miles on the clock and after $800 in parts there isn't a scooter sold that can touch it,,,and on top of it all it can jump 50-60 feet given the right conditions and come out the other side unfazed,,,but the stella blows the dr out of the water with mpg and as a pack mule,,,i can carry a case of beer and a full weeks groceries on that thing if i use my bigger back pack,,,but i digress,,,if used for the intended purpose of blasting around town grocery/store runs,,,short commutes to work and back even 100-140 mile days taking the day just to ride the backroads,,,not in a hurry,,,30-45mph chinese scoots are fine,,,,i can't even believe they can make the thing ,,make money,,ship it halfway around the world,,sell it to a dealer who marks it up and sets it up or sells the crate for under a grand,,,astounding,,,and anyways the chinese are getting better by the day,,soon we will all be blown away by them quality wise,,,,but the tradeoff will be higher msrp,,,if they are to survive and grow they have to pick up quality and prices will rise,,,we have beat this thing upsidedown and backwards,,,early chinese scoots sucked and some still do,,but others are gettin it together and will be real world class very soon if they arent already,,,even harley/piaggio/bmw and others have their engines made there

What I am waiting for is when those who keep dissing the chinese bikes and scooters and swear the best are made by the japs or harley to admit that their harley or yamaha has a chinese engine and is as good or better than before.
The shops who state they will not work on chinese stuff may have to go out of bussiness if the keep that crap up. The harley guys now who do not realize where the parts came from that their precious hog has in its belly!
