Bashan, When you get the scoot out of the crate and get it together, take some pics and post. It looks very interesting...

Oh oh,
Looks like a red Vespa only better! That's one great-looking scoot!
There is just something very appealing about a scooter that looks like a real scooter. Hope the little red rocket is all you hope for! Have an old-school Karma on me!
Ride safe,
Leo in Texas

Thanks for the kind words all. I'm charging the battery on a Tender Jr. It should be ready tomorrow. I'll change all the fluids tomorrow and try to crank it. I can't wait. I must say John at Valley Scooters has been great, it arrived four days after I ordered it, I got the paperwork today. I'll probably ride this one to the DMV down the dreaded route 280 instead of having a cop come out and inspect it, more fun that way!

I cant remember the exact instructions on it, but once you put the acid in the battery and wait the time period (2hrs?) It should start your scoot. I bet that model has the lower fuel tank and a fuel pump so I would pull the fuel line at the carb and either sypon the fuel into the line or atleast aiming it in a cup and hit the starter until the fuel comes out. It will make it a lot easier than cranking and cranking on it until the fuel fills the line/pump/carb. -Zug

Oddly, it's a gravity feed. It has a wide flat tank at the top with a vac petcock on the bottom. I put over a gallon in it and it was still taking it, I quit because I didn't want to plug the vapor canister. It cranked about 15 seconds and purred to life like it had been a running scoot for ages. I rode it about 10 miles till it was getting dark, ran perfect. Now, the really weird thing.........it has a keylock down at the floorboards under the front of the seat like there's a gas cap there. Open it up and....NADA, empty space. So Zug, I think you're correct, it was meant to be fuel pump fed and then some Sino-crazy changed the design. But I don't care, it runs perfect, not a hitch, how many times can one say that when cranking a Chinese scooter for the first time? Rich

The 50cc version of that scooter has the gas tank down low. The way they put in a 150cc engine means they had to relocate the gas tank. Same on the Flyscooter iLBello 50cc, gas tank low. 150cc Bello, gas tank high.
Same factory, same scooter.

Man that red and chrome really stand out on your scoot. Love the way the instruments stand out, nothing cheap looking there.

Interesting Ginny, that explains a lot. I'm a "don't waste the space" person so I feel like that should be used for something; maybe a paint ball gun for Rte. 280? Thanks Speed, the finish is first class, I ordered it with the instruments being one of the main criteria, I was not disappointed one bit; the scooter is FAAAAABULOUS!!!......... The wife's giving me a little grief over the scoot being a little, well you know, femme. Rich

Thanks, the only way they could have been better is if the turn signal indicator was a tach. They could have put the indicator as a couple arrows at the top of the cluster. Oh well, I love the scoot, we're going out today. I'm going to see if I can make a Vid for Phaze's post with my cheap arse video camera. Rich
