Good evening. Nice, new scooter forum here. Check out my new driving lights. I bought them at Advance Auto Parts for less than $20. They are 55W. White, SMD LED running lights on top (5 leds per "bulb") 35W/35W H4 headlights 55w driving lights

I installed a set of teh 55w driving lights just like that originally and in exactly the same place.. My electrical system couldn't handle them, and when I hit hard bunps they would hit the fender, I ended up using an LED set and relocating them here: On the sides of the fenders down lower.

I did put them on a separate switch. I bought a led, lighted rocker switch placed on the left side, above the glove box. The wiring kit came with an inline fuse.
The lights flood the ground immediately in front of the scooter but don't reach as far down the road as I hoped.

Jake, I tested the clearance and I don't think they're hitting the fender.
I haven't had them on there long, so I still don't know how much the electrical system will be affected. I don't often ride at night, but I do know that the stock headlights (and even the aftermarket H4 bulbs) are really bad. It seems to me that the factory reflector design just doesn't work.

My switches, probably mounted the same place turtles are. They control all of my aux lighting, including my ground effect lighting.

Very Cool, nice job. I was in Advance Auto Parts today and I saw them. They have a very nice selection of lights. Alleyoop
