I found that some of the 250s,300cc have pickup coils with two wires. Also the diagram shows one of the pickup coil wires going to ground. Still searching for a better explaination.

Every place is overseas and not in english and parts for the 4 stroke water cooled motor I cannot find anything.I can find parts for the 50cc 2 stroke but nothing for the 4 stroke water cooled. I would like to see the ORIGINAL CDI and Regulator for that scooter. Maybe what is currently on there is NOT OEM. Where did you get that scooter and was it running when you got it? Alleyoop

I will take pictures. Are there any options for putting a different set up on there to make it run?

Yes things can be changed.
Where did you get the scoot and was it running when you got it? WHAT did you replace on the scoot as far as the CDI STATOR, COIL and R/R if anything. Do you still have the parts that where on there? We can also try a PICK UP COIL with 1 wire like most other scoots. If you have the old parts take pictures of them as well.

Scooter is friends I'm just working on it they bought it from local dealer that now doesn't sell them anymore. She said it ran when first got it but after six months won't start anymore. They only parts I tried was cdi box coil and now pick-up. The coil I got was exact size of one I took of. The two wires that are from pick-up run into same loom as two wires from magneto which plug into the four wire connector just inside frame. All those wires plus the wires from cdi box run in larger loom which run down frame towards battery box in floor. Black wire does for sure have battery voltage. Two wires off pick-up stay ground when meter is dc and .080 .210 when meter is ac.

That CDI see the two wires going to the end IS THAT A TWO PLUG where the PICKUP COIL PLUG WOULD PLUG IN? Why not try that CDI?

See if there is a number on that CDI, that is a special CDI for that scoot. Maybe with a number we can find another one

But as you can see the wires from the pick up coil match the two wires on the CDI BLUE/WHITE and RED/WHITE. So inside they must connect differently than a regular CDI. So use that CDI and plug the power wire on the bottom of the two plug and the YELLOW/BLACK out to the COIL from the top right of the 4 plug and maybe a green ground on the bottom of the 4 plug.

No that's the pick-up coil I just set it on top of cdi box for picture OH, DUH HAHAHAHA, got to get my eyes fixed What I would like to know IS WHERE where the TWO PICKUP COIL WIRES connected when you FIRST BACK IN 1932 took the crap apart?? Now one other thing DO YOU HAVE A GROUND WIRE FROM THE FRAME TO THE MOTOR? You Have 12volts to CDI with KEY ON so the problem is either the CDI PICKUP COIL and or COIL. Take a pic of the COIL COILS are come reversed and the BLACK/YELLOW wire from the CDI goes on the BLACK and Some go on the GREEN terminal. So you can also try switching the wires there and see if you get spark. I can show you a VIDEO where BRENT from 49ccscoot had to swap the wires there because the coil was reversed.
