I had a bank deposit to make and dog treats to pick up. Hmmmm, which shall it be? Ah, the Rebel has saddlebags and a windshield. Only ten miles but it's better than driving the car. A great day in November to ride.

The temperatures are in the mid-fifties out there and I needed something for dinner. It had been a while since I took the Fashion on anything longer than 10 miles so it was the likely candidate. I love the roads on the trip to the supermarket I had to go to. The bike just hummed and got better as the miles rolled up. I can only hope the weather around here holds. I've had some really nice rides lately, especially for November. I got in over 30 miles on this run.

If it is the last thing I do tomorrow I will ride. Been feeling real bad, either ate some thing I shouldn't have or flue...been almost two weeks now.
Just can't believe out of this whole forum there are just a few riding. 9000+ scooter "riders" out letting their scooter do a slow death with a tank full or crap-a-hol. 9000 scooters waiting to be scrapped.
JR posted once since end of july!
Just maybe CFMOTO isn't so damn dumb pulling the plug on the US scooter crowd. To me it looks like 99% of the scooter owners were in it to get miles per gallon. All I see riding around here is the big iron and occasionally a smaller bike.

I have to tell you this John. I think it's a matter of location. In Connecticut registration and insurance for a 50cc scooter are minimal. I drove there this last Saturday briefly and saw a couple of scooters on the road. People there rely on them and use them and the weather is no better there than here. In my neck of the woods I've only seen a couple of bikes out and no small scooters. New York puts you through the wringer to get anything registered. I'm betting in places in resort areas like South Carolina and Florida small scooters are burning up the streets.
I only know as long as I'm seeing anything over 40 degrees in the mid day I'm riding when I can. It's too much fun not to.

I managed to ride something, every day, for the past 7 days in a row. This great stretch of weather is coming to a screeching halt though....65 degrees this morning at 10:45......now it's 32 degrees, with snow flurries, with a few inches expected, I imagine the salt trucks will be out.
Can't complain.....added 391 miles to my fleet of 4 this week, ...... 83 were on the scoot.

Yesterday was a good day. I had to take a trip to DMV and the weather was perfect. I took the Fashion. It was a great run on a State Highway and the scooter was a pleasure. Later I had the itch to take the 91 Nighthawk on a run and did a lunch ride. The food was good, the ride was better. It is always a hoot to ride the Hawk on a local road.

because of heavy smoke here in smoky mnt's very hard to breath no less ride, my wife as asthma this could lead to worse problems. Now are beautiful mnts are on fire because of fire bugs and thank God rain is now here a little late for many of or home owners. But still we will take what ever we can get to help with those many of fires we have burning. I would love to catch someone starting a fire no tell what I would do after fire was out to him.

Could be careless smokers too. Every now and then we hear about some one who flips a butt out the window and catchs a truck load of flammables on fire. A butt into dry tinder alongside the road can mean a forest fire.

It doesn't take much for me to grab the '91 Nighthawk out of the garage. Temps were in the mid forties and the little woman needed something from Town. It was only a scant ten mile trip but it lightens my soul every time I ride the red wonder. Hopefully the mild season will continue.

So far they charged 1 for starting a fire of many on top of the mountain's now 15 people died 1,000 people home's and business gone, believe more then one fire bug started this mess. Should be tar and feathered then burned to death.
