Well it started snowing this afternoon so I took a ride on the neighbor little toboggan. Two wheels won't be around for several months here in east-central Wisconsin.  |

It was a slight bit warmer today, with temperatures in the mid forties. I had a few short errands to run and the sun was shining so out came the Bashan Eagle again. It is so easy to pick up a gallon of milk with the trunk under the seat and the leg shields to keep the wind off me. I always enjoy the trip to town when I go on two wheels and being able to do it two days before Christmas is even better. leg shields? Photos? Do one change and check results. |

Out and about today on the Stella and the dr,,,,lo to mid 70's no rain roads all dry,,,soon to change tho,,,big storm comin in later tonite and be on and off all week,,,it may let up by Thursday ,,,I'm not complaining tho we need the water bad,,,been drier than a popcorn fart here for 18 months,,didn't see a cloud for 8 months,,,

I finally got out on mine today. Walked right by it with out a jacket to get some thing and a light bulb went on. I didn't get off the dirt road but I ran it long enough to see that the battery was still charged back up. I don't generally ever leave a charger on a bike or scooter. Have had too many damaged by over charging. A battery that is fully charged should be able to go a few months easily with out charging. I think there are a lot of people who get next to zero life out of their battery by sticking a charger on any time they don't plan on riding and get over charged even though those auto chargers are supposed to shut off. Then they run out to walmart or where ever ultra cheap batteries are sold for a new one so they can repeat the process. Almost all batteries sold today are them agm ones and those tolerate zero over charging.

The rain washed away most of the salt on the roads. I road today and plan to ride tomorrow.
