on the way to lunch at the senior center the rear caliper fell off! It has to be my fault as I was the one who changed the rear tire last year. I just put it in the garage but the will take a hour or 2 before the aircond. cools it off enough to get at it. looks as if bolts fell out and don't remember exactly how it was mounted. I had an extra bungee cord so I tied it up and rode on to lunch. I imagine the front is mounted the same so I will probably pull it and see what is missing. was on gravel running about 15 when it bounced on gravel and I stopped. while in the garage I should see about making a cane mount, then I would be riding it a lot more. right now I have to bungee it on between seat and trunk. john

Good luck John. I have my whole front plastic off trying to get to my fork lock. It would help if it stopped raining!

send some rain my way................while it cools off in garage I am out side stripping the electrical and the deck off my old fishing boat. it is going to become my new goldfish pond! going to bury it part way in ground and insulate the sides to be covered in rocks and it is going to have a halve doz modified garden gnomes all peeing in it. is a v/round bottom 14ft aluminum. all right for fishing but I can not walk in it (too tippy) (hard to step over seats) and my life is more important than the boat! tried to sell it, then tried to give away. made a flat bed out of trailer. found out that a big metal stock tank would cost more than what I valued the boat at so it will be a pond.
the brake to get some southern engineering, (parts missing) a rear is nice to have but isnt going to stop you just provide stability. john

Looks like I got a serious problem unless I can find the piece that fell off. I just went thru gs motors eagle parts page and they do not show it. what is missing is some sort of go between bracket between the rear caliper and the AXLE CARRIER/rear swing arm. I could probably make it if I knew what it looked like to start out with. going to have to put it together and ride with out rear brakes till I find it or a replacement. it looks like the rubber and slider bushings were damaged when it came off this afternoon too. I should have marked the exact spot in the road but didn't. john

thanks rich. it don't look as they want to sell any parts with the prices listed. it looks like the piece missing is #9 plus any pins that would go inside the caliper. I just took a ride down the road in dark with another scooter hoping it might show up with lights. better go put it all back together. thanks again. john

full size cane fits under seat on the majesty, and is why i been mostly riding it. would rather ride carino to lunch as its only 3 1/2 miles to senior center. I like the light weight, short wheel base, flat floor and quick handling when you dont have to go 60. is the perfect around town scooter. I am thinking of possibly a couple broom holders with spring clips for the cane. have a light weight adjustable that I keep in car and wooden ones around the house and for scooters. john
