It's amazing how little respect Hyosungs get. I saw this on Craigs List and wished I had deeper pockets. albany.craigslist.org/mcy/1955030918.htmlI don't know if it's still available but the price blew me away.

Hey, I have the deep pockets.
My pockets also are really really empty.

Is it really or are you exhibiting your infamous wry humor? That is just a hop, skip, and a jump from me, I could easily pick it up with my trailer. Rich

Wow - Rich, jump all over that 1 on Ebay. It's even the same color as mine.

I tell ya, I tempted. However, I looked online and couldn't find parts. I don't know if it's compatible with Chinese parts or not. It's also FI which I'd dearly love to have but don't know how to work on, and it's a four valve head. Anybody had any experience with these? Rich

No Hyosung dealers in Alabama Rich? Even here in the sticks I have one about a half hour away. You'd have to buy parts from them to install.

That's the same scoot that Larry has, only with the Hyosung badging. Should tell ya something there. I sat on the UM version (Xpeed 250i) once, but was cramped. That's all I know first hand. I understand that they're a quality scoot, but I'd just need a custom seat. When I was buying my Matrix II, my UM dealer tried to upsell me on the Xpeed, since he didn't have any Matrix II's in stock at the time. EDIT. Note, I'm 6'-2". Hence the legroom issues.

You can get parts from Hyosung or Alpha powersports. The great thing is, you don't have nearly as many problems as with China Scoots. Also, I'm told that a lot of the parts for the old Burgie 250 are directly compatible since Hyosung evidently made a lot of the scoot for Suzuki. They are a little short on leg room if you're over about 5'6" - 5'8".

Yep, I'm 5'11" and wish the scoot was a little longer with a little more leg room though. I have the 2008 Hyosung MS3-250. I love it though, but if I go very much over 50 miles on it I start feeling it in my back. I had a chinese 150cc before this and would never go back. Love the fuel injection, starts right up first time every time. I added a windshield extension which helped a lot, especially with keeping the bugs off my helmet visor. I paid $1985 for mine new off of ebay last year, but had to pay another $460 to have it delivered. Don't regret making the purchase at all, but if I ever find some extra money in my pockets (may be a while) I might look at something bigger.

Well I bid up to $800.00 (hope the wife isn't reading this! ) and some guy jumped in at the last second and snagged it. I don't know if I'm pissed or relieved. He said it was in a garage but hadn't ran in over a year, which probably means A LOT over a year. I got enough scoots but I would have loved to have EFI. Rich

Too bad - they're a great ride./ Wayne's experience is almost identiccal to mine right down to height. "Yep, I'm 5'11" and wish the scoot was a little longer with a little more leg room though. I bought what looked like good deal but may end up being a paperwork nightmare. The title is a "destruction" title from Florida even though there's nothing major wrong with the scooter. It even looks like they removed the VIN from the universe. Once I get it running I'll have to do some creative maneuvering or find someone who owns a farm and wants a reliable way to get around.

Your best bet might be to try to re-register it in Florida. Gotta be some snowbird down there that would let you use their address. Once you get a legit FL title, you could re-do it in NY.
