Just picked up this 2010 GMW V-150 150cc scooter....

The R1 is not on there site yet

this is how it Started when I brought it home

now the New look after a lot of time, custom painting, new parts and $$
I will post a list of parts soon to anyone intrusted?

I think it came out sweet

its pretty quick now also

I also installed a trick new Dr.pulley H.I.T clutch and vairator and gates belt

Parts List
Most aftermarket parts are from (Monstergy6.com) steven has been a big help on this project!

All bulbs have been changed to led
DDM 35w HID's (5k) have been installed.. Awesome light output ;D

All cheep arse wiring connectors have been replaced with new ends and heatshrinked
All smog or air systems have also been removed

Any ?'s regarding Paint work (Simulated Carbon Fiber) or coatings I have had done don't hesitate to pm me and I will get you in contact with my painter or coater

My next mission with this scooter is to chop the rear mud guard and reupholster the seat with black Swede and add red stitching

Nice work!
Looks just as good here as it did at the Dawg Pound!

Still interested in the Dr. Pulley driveline...
Did you ride it stock before the conversion?
They say their stuff provides noticeable improvement across the board.

If you get a chance some details re: off-line response, at speed acceleration, RPMS, etc would be awesome.

Thanks for all the great feed back guys...I have some more picks coming soon just need time to down load them.

I will be posting a how too on modifying the front shocks (for under $15 )so that they actually will preform like a oil filled fork shock should and not some vague uncontrolled spring that bottoms out on the smallest bumps.

I have an update on the never ending project 8-)

I installed a few more goodies on the scoot...

*178cc AL cylinder kit with heat dispersion coating
*NCY hi flow head with heat dispersion coating on the outside and in the intake and exhaust ports along with the piston dome and cylinder head

*A9 cam with titanium valve springs
*All but a few special bolts have been replaced with stainless steel bolts

I have retained the 24mm carb on this engine primarily to the fitment issues have had with the 3 different types of 30mm carbs with 4 types of intakes,spacers,adapters,etc. the engine mount on this bike is just a little different than most. and I really don't want to take the time to "reinvent to wheel" on this project.

now with that said I took the advice from a few members on and off this forum to just don't worry about it and just run the stock carb so after a few hours of figuring out the right jets,variator weight and clutch spring set up I have to say I don't miss not going to a bigger carb AT ALL! this thing runs great and has way more power especially low to mid range. it pulls strong to 50 and then tapers off to top speed of (64mph GPS) not bad for some one my size..can't wait to break it in to see how good it will go then ;D

I would like to really thank Steven (MONSTERGY6) for his help. He did a great job building the motor and helping me get all the pieces together for this build.

One thing I've never understood about these chinese scoots! Why in the world would they manufacture a wheel with one side finished and the other looking like crap!

very true! there is pretty much no choices that I have found for custom wheels for this size and type scoot
