I used a air grinder with a drum sanding attachment on a 50cc.If the 150cc are the same the cylinder is located on the dowel pins not the cylinder opening. This means you just have to open uip the crank case enouf to fit the cylinder. It dose not have to be precise. Just remember to clean everything very carefully! You don't want mettle shavings in your oil.

Get it machined property... I have seen guys grind the cases and they wonder why their main bearings fail in 2000 miles... grinding grit in the engine....
No matter how careful you are, you are going to leave grit in the engine and air blasting can't remove it.
Don't cut corners, take it to a machine shop or buy a case that has been pre-machined...

It can be done. You have to split the case, remove the crankshaft, put the case back together, grind it out, split case and clean, and then reassemble.

Property manager forced me to get scooter running immediatley or face getting evicted for having scooter apart in the parking lot. There simply isn't any time to get case machined now. I'll have to stick with an almost stock engine with an a9 cam for a couple more months . The plan now is to buy a machined out case and build a new bigger engine to my specs as funds permit. It has been a good learning expierence . Now I understand the engine's mechanics and what's needed to build a new engine. I have the cylinder and new piston to start the project with atleast ! That's a good reason to buy a machined case! Otherwise it come down to what you have more of. Time or money.

unless you have a gas leak, take the scooter inside and stick it in the living room and cover it up unless you have some kind of special agreement on your lease the landlord cant barge into your house/apartment to see if its there...

My brother overhauled an old Honda in his dorm room at ASU. Man it was tight in there!
