Ok . New stator is in. I am getting just over 53V AC at where the black red goes into the CDI ( Compared to the 27vAC with the old stator) . I have now replaced with new components both the stator and the CDI . With either coil assy I currently have , I am still not getting any spark . Do I need to get a new replacement coil ? . Any help is and has been much appreciated !! Bill C.

Yup...I would say so... the line from the stator to the CDI should have over 50 volts AC. I measured mine yesterday and it was 92 volts...

Might help to take it off the kickstand and onto the centerstand . I need to see if that was the main issue in the first place. Stator had to be replaced eitherway . Will keep you posted !Always seems the littlilist things cause the biggest headaches !

You were on the KICKSTAND? Many scooters have an electrical interlock to prevent them starting when the kickstand is down.. like no spark...
May be your entire problem.. or part of it...

The Clicking means one of two things. 1. Your Solenoid is bad - Easy to test, jump the two terminals on the Solenoid IF your starter works it is BAD. 2. Weak Battery Alleyoop

Why is this doing the click click ? That's the sign of a weak battery. You should also make sure that your battery connections are clean and tight.

what could be causing such a drain on my battery ? I don't have an alarm system. headlight ? I have a new stator assy installed . It almost doubled my voltage coming from the stator compared to my old stator . Should I replace the voltage regulator ? Battery ?My battery is just over 1 year old now and went through last winter outside . Maybe its time to replace it ?? I think I better put my kickstartback in just in case !! I put the battery back on the charger and is charged . Now to put the d@$n thing back in. Bill C.

ok for the second have you checked the engine grounds!!!!!! this is a small step overlooked often .
if it cranks and no spark , ground the plug to the battery and look for spark!!!!

Shalom72c, My Friend you do not take advice very well. Test the DAMN thing and you will find out IF ITS THE SOLENIOD or the BATTERY. If its the Battery then it is either weak and is looseing its charge or your chargeing system is not chargeing and since you just put in a good stator then it would point to the Regulator/Rectifier. Once you put the battery back on and it starts get the Volt Meter and test the battery see what it is at IDLE, Then Rev it up and see if it is chargeing or not. Alleyoop

Unless you are in the south a battery outside in the winter if it gets to freezing is finished. It may LOOK like it is taking a charge , but it doesn't. Take it to a battery store and ask them to load test it for you... it is free...

OK... take an old screw driver and short out the connections of the solenoid.. the copper posts. If the starter motor turns.. the solenoid is bad... If the starter motor doesn't turn the starter motor is finished... it could also be a bad start switch.. check it for loose wires...
Check all your connections between the battery and the solenoid for loose wires...

I don't understand why HE WILL NOT JUMP the Solenoid Terminals I asked him to do it and now you as well. Shalom72c why will you not do it? That will tell you which part is bad. Alleyoop
