When I turned my front wheels while jacked up they seemed to rub a little with the brake - Would this have anything to do with bushings?

I think the breakes are just a little tight, the bushing are to keep the grease in the A assemle and to snug up the hub arse.

been driving around and having a good time, I think the scooter handles good. Now Sarge707, I have been hearing that the fuel pump ( if thats what itscould) is put in backwards, the single outlet side goes to the fuel filter then to the carb, it has and arrow on it pointing the direct of fuel flow, the other two connects one from fuel tank the other vacuum. hope this helps.

Jim, we are starting to see a few of the tadpoles on the roads down here. Not many and so far no IBs except for mine and one other. Rarely see a Piaggio MP3 and when you do you have to look quickly. The MP3 is fast. The 250 tops out at 77 and the 3,4, and 500s are real hot rods. Have seen one AutoMoto once.

yes that is backwards. The side with one output goes to the filter to the carb. the other two one goes to fuel tank the other is vacuum. I can't remember which one is vacuum, I took mine out and sucked on one and it pulled a vacuum on the one I put the hose going to the fuel tank.

Switched line to fuel tank with line to carb(From Fuel valve as noted before- Vacuum line was OK where it was) and she started right up after a few tries!! Ran on kickstand and went through some various RPM,s for about 5 minutes. Pulled the centering lever to move where I could go around the local street-Started up -took off centering lever and it kept beeping, did again , same thing, It will only do a brief throttle when it beeps and I could not ride. It Must be built into the CPU that when the centering thing is on it will only do like 2,000 rpm,s and then it kills it as a safety feature. Waited a while and same thing, Sooo Now I have a scooter that starts but continues to beep if the centering lever is on or off?? I,m going Jet Skiing for the weekend , at least they work and one is 14 years old!!( Its Canadien? LOL)

try rocking the scooter to thr left and right, mine stuck alittle at first, you will also nhotice that when it starts working good the lever will fly out of the lock postion to the driving position fast and all the way.
