As we cfmoto 244cc owner know the right belt size is 918 x 22,5 x 30.
But it seems to be hard to find gates powerlink that size. But there is a lot of 906 x 22,5 x 30 size powerlink.
Is there big difference with these belt sizes? Have any of you tried that shorter belt?
I just cant find international seller for 918 size. But there is many seller for 906 size.

bhinch I just ordered 2 belts from scooterbelt.com and will never order single one from them anymore if they don't send me at least one new belt.
Another one was 15mm too long compared to another one. I discussed about that by email with them. They said that there might have been some depris in my variator which caused this stretching. But no way as I drive only 25 miles using that belt and it felt always very slippery and I opened variator and noticed that it was way toooooo long. And I always clean my variator and clutch with break cleaner spray when I install something to my variator.
So I tried to ask them what they think have happened with that belt. The only answer was that they have never had any problem with belts. Then we discussed that I send it back. They will look the belt and send me another one back. Now I'm waiting another belt from them, but hardly believe they will send me another. And sending belt back to them cost me over 15 dollar if i remember right.
And what about that another their belt. First it was exactly same width than my 6000 miles ridden gates powerlink 918 belt. I measured them both. But 100 miles after this new another belt is also already stretched 5mm and started slipping as hell. It even started to wear and go really small dust. My driving plate was full of that black rubber dust which caused that slipping.
No any belt should stretch 5-15mm when used only 25-100 miles. So I bought two belts from them and even sent another one back so they can figure out if there has been some problem in their belt "factory" or something. If they don't send me even one back as complement (I think I deserve at least two), I will write negative commet of scooterbelt.com in every scooter forum I know. But if they are good people and send me another new one I will give it a change. But as I said I don't believe they will send me new one because I live another side of earth. It is easy to fool people who lives that far.
Now I put that good old used and unstretched gates powerlink 918 belt back and no slipping at all. That's why I want new powerlink. It is good, trustworthy and long lasting belt.

It's ok and thank to you for your help I'm just pissed of the way how they in scooterbelt.com communicate with me. No the belts were not gates. They were qinjiang. Much cheaper feeling materials than gates.

Update: Scooterbelts.com sent me another new belt. They could not figure out why was this one belt 15mm too long. But now I'm happy since I got new belt But I think I leave this as a spare belt and try to find out where to get 918 gates powerlink. Any help would be great.

Thanks for links, but no gates powerlink 918 lenght. Only 906. It could work too, but I still try to find 918 because it is the oem size belt.

The 906 will work for you. It is only 12mm shorter. You will get a bit more punch on take off but loose a little top end with a shorter belt. Anyway it will work on your scooter if you need a belt and can not find the 918.

I believe that was the same link which was in the big ruckus forum. They were not sure if it is a real powerlink. I don't believe it is because of the price. Who would sell it for that price. No one. It must be those fake powerlinks. But thanks guys for links. Keep on coming more if you meet 918 belts.

I saw that post. The picture showed the Powerlink and the belt received was not branded the same. That's why I used quotes. I did buy a Powerlink branded belt for my scoot a while back for less than $20. That was a limited quantity buy which disappeared right away.
