If I what I am thinking is correct, when you take off the front cowling you'll see a thin, black wire coming off the radio that isn't connected to anything. I believe that is the antenna. Of course, I may be wrong (that would not be the first time). You could try to reposition it or make it longer.
There are a ton of screws holding the front on. Some are hidden under the aluminum floor boards and behind the front wheel.

Be NICE! I know I have posted things when I wasn't sure just where to put them. Keep in mind that the reason many of us our on this is because its a friendly place where you don't get flamed.

wow a radio has bad reception...thats so custom That was pretty funny though! ;D ;D Since we are in the "custom" area... And I'm looking at a black and chrome scoot that's the same chassis as mine... There's a mod I've been thinking about you may wanna consider. Flipping the intake manifold 180 degrees on the head, and cutting a hole in the cowling directly bellow the front of the seat for a "Ram Air" effect with an open element air filter. Doesn't look like it'd take much to do, and would be a first as far as I've ever seen.... BmWxPR, you up for it?

have seen several flipped, probably on an other forum though. big problem is a chassis bar on a lot of scooters that the carb would hit if you flip the intake.
