MY BAD!! I did not see that you already put up a picture of the PLUG. WOW!! that is great INFO for the rest of the troops. YOU GET SOME KUDOS for diving in and BEING THE SCIENCE PROJECT on that PLUG.
Now you do not need a CARB YEAAAAAAAAAAA. Now you can adjust for any little bogging or hesitation. Alleyoop

That plug from the enricher should have a mate over in the wire bundle on the right side of the frame, there will be only one that fits it.
The enricher adds more fuel to the carb when the engine is cold, and then shuts off in about a minute and then it runs on the idle circuit, which is what you're adjusting with the A/F screw.
Usually you only need the enricher in the winter, which on South Beach would be never, but it should still be plugged in, so check it out next time you're under the seat.

CE - LoL @ "saga" , ya it totally was a long one. Oh ya that wire, ya I was asking about it but thought it was just nothing since nobody said what to do with it. LOL. Lord I just put my scoot all back together hehe. If it is NOT hooked up, what does it make the scooter do? Or not do, should I say? alleyoop I dont know exactly how far i drilled but looking at a ruller i'd say about 1/8 of an inch. Scroll up I posted a pic of the plug after I pulled it out. Ok so the test drive went fine before, but gave me a lil hesitation starting, drove 5 blocks, went to a store, drove back 5 blocks it was fine. Do to the hesitation i decided to throw a new spark in so I did then went inside for several hrs. I just went back out now to run a quick errand and it started up FANTASTIC, im guessing the new spark did the trick. I drove 1/2 block and it died. Same issue as before just didn't want to accelerate and then died. I pulled over, turned key to off, waited a few seconds. Started it again, and again it started PERFECT, went to accelerate and it hesitated, started to lose power and died. Pushed it home 1/2 block. Back to the drawing board. CE, Im wondering if that green wire plug has anything to do with this and if so, im wondering why it would be fine for the first 200miles and now give me crap. I feel like I am back to the drawing board on this one. I'm starting a new thread on this since its not about the original subject of trying to drill out the cap/plug to the a/f ration screw. New thread: www.scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=150cc&thread=4761

When you changed the plug did you get the plug boot back on tight?
When you push it onto the spark plug you should be able to feel the boot grabbing the treads on the top of the plug... it is like you run a thumb nail along a comb...
The plugs on scooters DO NOT use that top coke bottle shaped part that comes with plugs.. it must have bear threads...
worth checking

Yes I put the boot back on tight and felt like the comb as you described. I didn't get a coke bottle shaped part w my plug and it had bare threads. Look up one post above yours I started a new thread for this issue ( just edited my last post ) since its about a new topic than the one I stared with. Thanks for the suggestion sprocket.
