It doesn't go INTO my tank, it is part of the tank and it hangs OUT of it about 1" So far my scooter has been giving me minimal problems w/ the petcock and when I say minimal I mean it only cuts off the gas on me about 2x a week instead of 2x a day. The battery seems to be doing better, maybe because I'm going on longer trips. For now just waiting for the gas tank to run out so I can take it out and set the manual set up. For now I'm getting used to remember to shut the manual gas switch on and off when I start and stop my scooter because it does still seem to have the " always flowing " even when off problem. Sooo glad I put that switch in early

GOOD JOB!! crap now you can go and get a job as a Scooter Diagnostic Tech. And if you run into something New just come on back and ask. But I think we should get a CUT of the profits , WHATA SAY . I know you will say Eat crap and Die(HAHAHA). But seriously you know more stuff than most of those SO CALLED MECHANICS, like I always said all they know is how to replace parts and not Diagnose what is causeing a problem. Alleyoop

On a side note I'm getting a new apartment in 2 weeks that I just found and its a tiny bit smaller but worlds better than my current one and in a GREAT location, very private and quiet I'm getting too old for the party noise of my current location

You might want to run an ad on Craigslist saying you fix scooters at affordable rates.

>>But seriously you know more stuff than most of those SO CALLED MECHANICS Ya, I wonder what training these scooter monkeys have...perhaps the bosses like them stupid so they throw $80 of parts at a scooter to 'fix' the problem rather than doing any diagnosis which most are incapable of anyways... But there are some GREAT scooter mechanics out there... just a few... and if they give a sh!t they help out on the scooter forums

jeff perhaps when I know the scooter inside out/ how to do brakes and everything! there are manyyy people w the same exact scooter that i have so I would start out leaving business cards on those scoots saying i specialize in the LB50QT-6 chinese scooter very true sprocket. I like to go on yahoo answers and volunteer my expertise with diet/fitness questions. It makes me feel like im doing a tiny bit of volunteer work each day. I'm just waiting for the gas tank to empty out so i can ditch the petcock and in 10-14 days im in my new apartment wooot! so excited but very sick of packing. LOL. off to drinks some more coffee and pack more

brakes are simple, especially compared to what you have done already.

Besides, one would have to likely have in excess of 3-5000 miles before the brakes would wear out.
