Getting 70mpg on a 150 is pretty damn good. Also what is 90 to 100 if you mean MPG NO WAY not even 50s will get that much.
If the 90 and 100 you mean Top End Speed Again NO way if it is stock. 150s are good for 50-55mph.

Lean or Rich do a plug read at 100 miles/kilometers. Other than a meter that is the best way to tell the air/fuel mixture..

I agree with Alley. With a FF exhaust and well tuned engine and playing with the CVT you might get 60 mph WOT

Have you checked your valve gaps?
