Tre: Do you have the connector that goes with the blue one? If you do then I would rewire the harness with the new connector. Otherwise you will have to fabricate 6 individual plug connectors which will be a little painful, not to mention a nightmare to keep dry and trouble free. Go online and see if you can get the connector for the plug...that is what I would do. vr, Lee

Well if your talking about the Motor you have NO, it is a whole added piece that attaches to the Left side of the Case. What it does is it Slides the Shaft inside Left and right to engage Forward and Reverse Gears. Alleyoop

Can i leav it like this with no head plastics on there for more clearance or will it over heat without it ? this is what leaving the fan shrouds off will do your you..... that curved piece is part of the piston between the ring grooves. Owner had installed a 47mm top end with other go fast goodies then left the fan shrouds off. the owner took off on the thing and it made it about 20 miles before it lost power and died never to run again. It was a new scooter only had 200 miles on it.

Engines can get real hot without enough air flow to remove the heat. Aluminum melts at about 1220 deg.. The extreme heat causes other things to happen also. The metal expands causing more friction between the piston and cylinder. Also the oil boils, burns and breaks down. No lubrication causes more friction and heat.
