I believe that I've located the cover that I want to install on my 150cc scoot, however I want to remove the kickstarter, which I've never had the occasion to use. Just think it'll lood better without that ugly kickstarter hanging out there! lol Besides it seem to just get in the way of putting the scoot on the centerstand. My question is: Does anyone make a chrome plug for the hole in the case, where the shaft protrudes? I'd appreciate any and all feed-back. Thanks everyone.

Just get a chrome bolt or even a fancy license plate fastener over the hole. Amber reflector?

When removing the kick starter just remember to remove all of the pieces. When i removed mine,i didn't remove all of the spacers that half fit into the inner most wall of the cvt. One vibrated out of the hole and went bouncing around the inside of the cvt. Had to fix that quick lol. The point is, they didn't look like they were supposed to come out. So like i said, just make sure you get all the pieces out.

I took mine offbecause the previous owner only used the kick starter. The gears are all stripped out and was un able to make it start. Left a ton of metal shavings inn the cvt.

You can get some really nice chrome kick start levers that will go nicely with the CVT cover.

Thanks everyone, for your input on this. It is greatly appreciated. I really can't see how it would be possible to wire an LED up in that position, although it probably would look pretty good. Greg and Sprocket; I do think I will heed your advice and keep the kick-start, but replace the ugly black one with a chrome one. Thanks again guys!
