The pickup coil is the little black cube bolted on right above the flywheel at about 11 o'clock. It senses a magnet in the flywheel as it passes by and tells the ignition CDI when to send a spark through the coil. They're easy to swap out and you don't have to pull the flywheel to do it. I would think a 50cc pickup would work on a 150cc if that's what shows up. If not Greg will make it right. There's two bolts that hold the pickup on, if they don't fit it won't work. Rich
