John's right, that's a ground problem. The brakes are on the DC circuit so when you hit the brake your providing a ground for the battery. That's something you need to fix because you're pulling the battery through that circuit, it won't take it for long.
Hey Roketafan, you didn't wire your house did you? Just kidding pal. Rich

i have a 3 wire kill switch also it went bad and i have the wires connected with a jumper and no i didnt wire my house rich.just 2 leprecons and a 4 leef clover...... again its a AC............................. system Your stator is all AC, they all are, if is wasn't it would be a generator. Your regulator/rectifier turns part of the stator output into DC for the battery. Some things are hooked up to the battery through the ignition switch like your tail lights and solenoid. So no system is completely AC, the battery has to be charged. Rich

Likely a stator - rectifier/regulator miss match...I have seen this in the past...

may not be enough juice at low RPM's
sometimes its easer to blow out what ever it is than to isolate a soft short loading down the voltage . Sprocket I'm sure you have seen a miswired 1157 (internally in the bulb) in tail lights . Could just be a bad bulb .

hey john, was out riding a few mins ago, and i was at WOT and my scoot went to doing that flickering thing, although this time its a little different. the headlight does not hardly flicker but the battery warning light on the dash flickers on and off. ive noticed a trend that it randomly happens only when im WOT. any thoughts? im not too concerned because im sure it will get solved when i get those parts from you next month but its still worth looking into.

yeah still have the glass cylinder shaped fuses. have one on both the + and - side of the battery. ive already checked them to see if they were blown or not and they are good.

There are number of stator configurations and you need to have the correct rectifier/regulator for the stator you are using... Check your wiring and voltages.. the yellow wire from your stator will likely not have sufficient voltage coming out of the R/R Guessing doesn't solve much Attachments:
