You are aware that the thickness is critical, even after you have enough clearance so the piston does not hit don't you? The compression ratio depends on getting the right thickness. Too little and you might have to run air craft fuel. You want to maintain around a 10 to 1 ratio. Much higher and you will probably have over heating plus having to run super premium fuel. A starting point would be the same thickness as the crank is over stroked. john

After assembly with the base spacer and a pair of gaskets, one on each side I would do a compression check before starting engine. I would expect to get around 150 lbs.

I rn premium gas anyways just burns cleaner more octane just change to a uni for more air for that boost in combustion
