Hello All, ***A little History about me an my new Scooter*** I'm new to this community since I recently bought a Chinese scooter from a local teen for 1000.00 thinking I was going to save money on gas which I have but not without having to do allot of work first it seems. ( I did not know I could buy this Scooter new for 1,800.00.. Boy do I feel stupid.. Oh well live and learn and make the best of a learning situation.. ) I bought this MC-54 250B 2 months ago with 6677 miles on it. I Rode it for a month and finally decided to check the fluid levels.. I know its dumb to not inspect a vehicle right away after purchasing it but I knew absolutely nothing about scooters or cycles for that matter and the kid I bought it from told me he had just changed the gear oil. I thought he meant motor oil.. Boy was I wrong. Anyways I Found I had no Engine oil to speak of.. So I Went to Walmart bought some Motor Cycle Grade 10w/40 Synthetic motor oil and dumped it in amazing this thing only takes one bottle. (Glad my engine did not blow up before i caught it.. ) Whats with all the SCOOTER SNOBS??Even Scooter Shops wont work on my Scooter?? I have since done a ton of study on how to service this scooter since no shops around me want to work on it for me. (I take that back a Lawnmower shop here will do the work but the mechanic always seems to be gone when I bring it in.. ) Anyways thanks to these forums and to Youtube, I have been able to change all my fluids and am in process of performing a valve adjustment on my little Roketa today.. But I digress... ****** My Actual Question is ****** I started this Thread to find replacement Forks for the Roketa MC-54 250B at a decent price.. Roketa wants $80.00 each.. I found a part on ebay that looks alike but am leery of ordering it.. Does anyone know a source for the equivalent part? ***Link to the part from Roketa ...*** www.roketa.com/product/product_support.jsp?cateID=1&sonCateID=0&proID=27312*** Link to a set I found on ebay that look the same*** www.ebay.com/itm/150T-12-Front-Forks-Shock-Absorbers-Shenke-Adventure-Jonway-150cc-Chinese-Parts-/190583859674?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c5faee9da&vxp=mtrPlease help if you can.. Thanks in Advance Jay...(<-- Non Scooter Snob)

Honest answer would be 'not sure buddy', but they certainly look the same from the pics. Given that a lot of Chinese scoots share the same parts there`s a good chance that these will match. On the Rocketa site they give measurements for their forks at 30mm diameter, which will be the diameter of the chrome sliders, and 470mm length. It might be worth shooting a question off to the chap on ebay to see if he can measure the forks he has to see if they`re the same measurements.

Thanks for sharing your story, but in frankly i don't prefer chineese scooters.. Chineese scooter are cheaper if comparison with other but they are poor quality scooters.
