I have a 2008 Diamo Retro 150cc. Everything is stock other than the 15 gram slider weights I have installed. My question is are they going to harm Anything? My scooter has 6800 miles on it and I have tried rollers and sliders from 10 grams Upwards and it seemed to me my motor Was winding out way to soon. So now with The 15 gram weights I feel enough power Say at a traffic light and top end is about 52 mph @ 7500 rpm (it does not sound comfortable above that Rpm). Am I doing any harm using these??

No your not harming it at all the motor makes its MAX power at 7500rpms. The Redline starts at 8000rpms on the 150s. If you want to lower your RPMS change to rollers instead of Sliders. Here is the difference in RPMS with Rollers and Sliders.
Rollers= For every gram up or down it will change your RPMS by 500-600. Sliders= For every gram up or down it will cahnge your RPMS by 200-350.
So just by changing to 15 gram rollers your RPMS will drop around 300rpms. Alleyoop

Well, Welcome to the forum Bluesberl good to have you on, and tell us what kind of scoot you have and put pictures up of your ride. Most of us use PHOTOBUCKET it is free and easy to use. Just create an account and then upload your pictures to it and then just click on SHARE of the picture you want to put up THEN a page comes up and click on LINK then go down to about the 2 to the bottom and COPY the IMG link and come here and paste it. You can put up as many pictures you want just paste them right after each other. Alleyoop

John, Yes you can mix Sliders, I have done it many times and My Trike likes 11.5-12g Sliders. 13gram weights it will only get to around 6500 rpms, with the 11.5-12 Sliders it gets to 6800-6900 rpms. After the BBK I have yet to get it over 7000K. Alleyoop
