Hey Alleyoop, Looking at the info about test for lean or rich, I was coming to work going 60MPH (according to my speedodetor, when I had cutting out back off and it surges ahead, which I know that mean it running lean, the info said mid-range move needle, so my question is shouldf I move the needle or adjust my a/f screw?

If the throttle was like at 3/4 open then Raise the Needle 1 notch(move the clip down 1 slot). Alleyoop

That what I thought also, (thanks) I didn't want to mess with the a/f, my scoot has been firing first crank (even cold).

FANTASTIC!! It is nice when the carb is adjusted right and the right amount of fuel with the ENRICHER for cold starts how nice they start. So now that the A/F is good, all you should have to do is WHEN it gets HOT you LEAN it out about 1 turn and when it gets COLD you richen it up about 1 turn. That is all I do to my carb.
If for some reason it starts to act up and there was not much of a temp change like it was 60 and below and then 70+ change you know it is something else. Like a dirty air filter, air leak, valves, carb got crud in, bad plug etc.. Alleyoop

Well, went home last night from work, moved that clip, this morning it took a couple cranks to get it started, only 23 here after start up RPM's climb as scoot warmed up, then when they drop, they really drop it was like I had to keep rev up to keep it from stall, so I did turn my idle up about three times, shut scoot off and came back about a i/2 hour and it did start up and RPM'S were about 2200 and it seemed to run good, haven't test drove it yet. Plus going home last night I couldn't get it above 50 because it would start acting up

Took scoot out for test run, mid-range and up good but slowing down going around a turn it stalled out and low range seems to surging forward I guess turn the a/f richer, so I didn't bring it to work
