2011 RK 250cc Scooter Type 54B purchased March 29th 2012. 890 miles up to date. After winter hiatus I started my scooter and immediately encountered a problem of a very active gas leak (more like a pour). After taking a side off I found a disconnected hose. Cannot figure out where does it go. Please help. Thank you Ben Butin Attachments:

Ben, Here are some possibilites, hose came off fuel pump, could be the drain hose from the bottom of the carb, could be your fuel hose that goes into the side of carb came off. The pic you showing us doesn't show much,

Take a look at this picture the hose goes straight up so look for an open connecter up there. Alleyoop

I magged his attachment and yep Alley and RTS2, you're right, here's the loose line:
It's gotta be the carb drain.

You all are correct, that is the carb drain hose. Notice the valve at the end mounted to the engine. The loose end goes to the bottom of the carb bowl.

Thank you everybody for identifying placement of the loose hose as a carb drain hose.
Yesterday I got distracted with real life needs. Today my friend a motorcycle rider will come to help me fix the problem. I will keep everybody posted with the results.
Sincerely
Ben Butin

Gentlemen,
First I would like to express my deep appreciation to the Forum for guidance and support. What would I do without you?
After you identified the problem we knew exactly where to look and found the location of the broken hose at the bottom of the carburetor. At NAPA we bought much better quality hose than the Chinese crap, and Corbin clamps. It was a bit of a challenge to put the new hose into place but it is done and scooter runs yet again.
Thanks a lot.
Sincerely
Ben Butin
