Hi guys
Long time no post
I just discovered that fuel is pouring out of the overflow tube at the top of my carb.
(Note: I don't have a fuel "pump", I just have an on off valve)
Usually I leave the on/off valve open no problem. I just discovered that if I open the valve the gas just keeps flowing and flowing, to the point of pouring out of the carb.
My questions are
1) This is float problem right? 2) Will a rebuild kit solve this problem? How hard is that? 3) For $10 more, should I just buy a new carb
Thanks in advance

Take it apart and clean the junk out of it. chances are a good cleaning will restore it.

What he said....
These carbs are cheap. If you end up wanting to rebuild or buy a new one, just get a new one.

replace filter and fuel lines then wash out the float circuit and reset carb in service. Get a 2nd carb for a spare, you will need it. These Carbs overflow all the time, the cheap inline filter is the cause. It allows small pieces of whatever to lodge in the seal seat and cause an overflow condition. Or set the Biouch on fire and make a cool video and get lots of hits.

It is probably the float needle...the rubber tip might be missing, or broken, etc...
