What are you marking it with? Tape?
Is it going to scuff where it climbs too?

OK! I have had about enough of failed attempts with this bike! WHO WANTS TO BUY IT?-- almost to that point anyways... SO.. I got my dr pulley sliders today... NOTHIING CHANGED as far as rpm or top speed or takeoff speed.... NOTHING... EXACT SAME.... What did change is... my belt it soooo flappy now... the BELT almost rises off the varriator!! I am posting video.... WHATS WRONG? AGAIN::: on the stand... I can redline it EASY and very quickly!! but on the ground or with a LOAD... I cannot get over 4500 rpms... WHATS THE DEAL? I sanded the clutch both on glazed up a lil pads and the inside of bell... COMEON GUYS... this is really getting OLD! I have already taken it to the shop with NO SUCCESS!! so its up to myself to fix it or--- catch it on fire and roll it down a hill! I cannot even bring myself to sell it like this... PLEASE HELP! Well it sure runs good on the center stand I can tell you that. So if it lugges with a load on it that tells me the motor has lost power. I would do a compression test and see what it putting out, has to be pretty low compression for it to lug so bad with a load on. Alleyoop

I got a compression reading from the shop... u said it sounded good... but i am gonna take it to another guy here in town and see if he will just do a compression test on it... he wont work on it.. but maybe a 20 dollar bill and he will check compression....
BUT SERIOUSLY?? this is your response... motor going bad?

It revs good with no load and I saw it in your video that is all it can be, not enough power. Alleyoop

The drive belt may work on a no load situation, but not on the ground with a load. You may have the wrong belt...my scoot takes the 856-23 belt. My belt has over 10,000 miles on it and it the original one. Purchase a new belt. Life is Good....My scoot is the 257cc Linhai or 260cc like your scoot.

If it has the 257 motor did you check the carb diaphragm. I've heard this many times before. Revs on centerstand but not on road.

What is the size of the belt, it may be a little to long I noticed the belt travels to the edge of the Variator and still flops. It also climbs really quick which indicates the weights are to heavy and will cause lower rpms with a load as well as maybe the belt being to long. Alleyoop

The last time I asked you about the belt.. u said that the rpms would continue to climb if belt was stretched out...
And u know I just went down on weights....

I don't remember saying that about the belt a stretched out belt will climb up the variator much easier than a tight belt and if it climbs to fast your rpms will drop.
So what is the size of the belt anyways, it is printed on the belt. The belt does look stretched out or is a longer belt. I would still check the compression on that motor, I would bet it's well under 150psi. Alleyoop

I will get it measured.. but it is for sure not on the belt...
I will go with bhinchs measurements... but what's the angle?
ALSO: I am broke for the month--Disability doesnt go far enough! especially paying 400 for bike bill thats same as when i put it in there RRRAAHHH... anyways.. will have to wait tell next month to order a new belt.. O'rileys rents out compression gauge.. will prolly do that next month as well....
But still need to know the exact belt I should get.. there are so many different answers to what size my belt is on the net....
