Allright.. I am pissed.. I went on test run this morn... its still getting up to H and now the fan is not kicking on .. rrrr... I guess I put too much antifreeze in it.. cuz when I shut it off it forced it way out of the resivor and onto floor!! From what I can tell it did not open up??
Also.. when I got up to 65 or so.. chug chug chug a lug.. was missing and backfiring slightly...

Ok.. on the stand.. I reved it up for a lil while and got it warm.. the thermostat did open up and the fan came on... but still I am getting overflow coming out of the resivor tank.. I also am having antifreeze boil from the radiator cap. And come out.. the radiator cap matches up exactly though.. its snug fit.. the rubber on the cap housing looks a lil chewed up in one spot... suggestions? Reasons I am overflowing? Options? Anything will help remeber I a a newb..

My daughter's car had a cap with a small tear in it once, it flowed all over the ground. Replaced it and no problems. 15 psi doesn't sound like much, but it is. Fix that first. Also, I forget alot, but a system that isn't holding pressure has a lower boiling point, yadah, yadah, Bernoulli's Principal, blah, blah, blah. Change that first, then see.

How do I burp it? I am thinking my radiator cap might be a little shallow? Not making the seal at the bottom? I read the feed on how to evac the air by doing it three times.. but I did that..

Ok.. i pulled off the radiator cap housing and did a test by blowing through line to see if air would come out with cap on.. NO AIR LEAKAGE...
I filled the bike back up with coolant today through radiator cap and about half way full on resivor.... I let bike warm to tell thermostat opened up and fan kicked on (during this time, some coolant came up and spilled over, a lil)... after it did suck it down from running through the engine i added coolant to top off the radiator.... now i am letting it cool with both caps securely closed.... and plan to repeat process at least two more times or until no liquid is needed.....
AM I DOING THIS CORRECTLY? Or am i trying to "burp" evac the air wrong?

Your doing it right BRO, if it still overflows on you because of overheating then you have an air leak. Alleyoop

I would take that the hose off the tank and go to the auto parts store and get a flexable hose. That is going to be a bear to find how old is that scoot and what model is it. Alleyoop

Try this place: evosales.com/pd_fast_scooter_250cc.cfmBut using PVC will work just find get the right size fuel hose from the auto parts store and then just get a PVC ELBOW to make the curve up it will work just great. And you can make it longer going up or shorter as well as going to the tank. Alleyoop

I will hold up don't forget it is just to fill your gas tank no gas will be sitting in there. All you need is the ELBOW if you do not trust PVC get a elbow made out of metal. You see the PLASTIC connectors on our CARBS hoses they get gas at times and they do not break down because the gas is not sitting in there. Also you have a FUEL FILTER to trap tiny particles heck your fuel lines deteriorate from the inside more than anything. Alleyoop
