I'm dead...e-mailed my request to Amazon re: exchange and they sent it on to the people I bought it from. They send me an e-mail saying the time had ran out for exchange so I am just going to reorder the whole thing again from Amazon and do it right(I hope)this time. Live and learn. As the old saying says, "We grow too soon old and too late smart" but I am only 88 years old. I still have a ways to go yet.

Well it's me again. I think I have this thing figured out. The harness and ballasts are OK but the h13 bi-xenon bulbs I ordered are wrong soooo I need(I think) to order h4 bi-xenon bulbs to fit the ballasts that I now have. I sure wish someone would vaify that before I spend any more money. This is what I have now. Zenex Slim HID Conversion Kit H13 (9008) 6000K Hi/Lo Deal Xenon (Diamond White) BTW....does the (9008) mean that the harness is for the H13 bulb? If so...then I will have to orde a whole new kit...ouch.

That produce is listed as 35w. I was under the impression that with my 2008 Roketa 54B 257cc I can handel 55w. Am I wrong here?

The 55w halogen may be too hot and may melt the plastic...and your electrical system may not handle the load..... I used the 35w HID's....

OK..One last question on this hid light thing and then it will either work or I haul the whole scoot to the dump. There are 35w ballest and 55w ballasts. Will my 12v dc battery system handel 55w? Yes or No and I am out of here.

Not sure, but why do you have the 55w ballast. I would use the 35w ballast and never look back. Just my 2c worth....the 35w on my bike is perfect and works with no problems, which is what I wanted. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....Enjoy your scoot...

be EXCEPTIONALLY careful to get your wiring correct. My bike is having issues with the HID lights. Not sure what's up but it keeps shorting out and blowing the main fuse.
If anyone can tell me where to look to discover the cause, I'd love it.

Got it. The rectifier is blown. Sooooo.... Wired up a switch with a diode to replace it and BAM! Everything is cranking right along now. Too totally sweet. These HID's rock.
