The space race fueled our technology and standard of living.

We should have never left the Moon. There should be a large colony there by now with a large spaceflight infrastructure built up.

Why has the US given up the things we have learned in the quest for space technology. So many inventions that are doing us great right here at home. Instead of continuing to develop even more inventions for use in space we have now given that opportunity to China. Their economy can become stronger and they will certainly make sure any inventions they create will bring lots of money into their lives while ours will just be ever greater poverty due to lack of jobs.

We are certainly acting pretty dumb in recent years.

whoah, wait a minute did somebody just said that Chinese are starting to manufacture Spaceships that will go out to the moon? are you talking about the same chinese that makes chinese scooter? omg, you have got to be kidding me 2willer!
this will be the first time the World will see a Spaceship that's run by carburetor,made out of tincans and materials made from pots and pans, THEN after the Spaceship is built the headlight doesnt turn on,rectifier is fried,gas gauge stuck at full,tranny is malfunctioning, muffler is falling off, and the speedometer reading is in Kilometers...my goodness!!!!
i can just imagine, all the parts of the spaceship will fall to the earth when it gets close to the sun and melts because parts are made out of conduit pipes and pewter...seeeeesh!
