but then, come to think if it, the dog does not have a rational mind like human has. its the owner who is really at fault here, he's the one who needs to be put down.
i guess both of them.
thats the reason why i hate dogs,,, the only use of dog is to bark at thieves who wants to break inside your house, id rather get a motion detector and door alarm.

thats why dog is called man's best friend, because it has many uses to man,.. a guarddog, a playmate,a companion, and most of all, a food

Cause cattle and hogs are raised for food.
Cats and dogs are raised primarily as family pets ( except for those who discard pets, and asains who eat dogs)
Besides, a good t-bone tastes a lot better than dog on a stick
(yes, I have unknowingly eaten dog, lived in the Philippines for 5 years, remember)
4 legs has nothing to do with what's edible.

I can't say I've ever had a dog ATTACK me while on my scooter, but one of our neighbors let their dog run loose this past summer, and I was riding in the back of our neighborhood when a dog just SHOT out in front of my bike. I hit the brakes as hard as I could but still ended up hitting the dog. Luckily it was quite a big dog so it walked away with just a limp (or, ran). The front plastics on my bike were damaged. Kind of hard to go find the owner of the dog and tell them that you hit their dog, but it was okay, so they understood.

I am a little worried about the dog scooter thing,,,all of my encounters were on big wheel bikes and quite a bit quicker than the vespa,,altho it is pretty quick,,i am thinking the 50 i'm going to get will have a little less snap to get away,,,one of my ol timey fixes for dog issues is a squirtgun filled with vineger,,,works like a charm..and no harm to said muttly,,,if he/she was very persistant,,i came back with my 4 wheeler,,,never had a problem with the same dog again,,,something about laying rubber on it's head that got the message across,,,thank goodness there's not a huge problem with dogs in cali,,only had just a few encounters since 78 when i got here,,3 or 4 only which is good ,,,but i never did consider the fact that there is a very large asian population out here,,,

well if you go to kuala lumpur , we have frozen dogmeat for sale in the local groceries. only white meat.

well , pigeon can be a pet but it can be eaten, rabbit as well, in europe rabbit meat is a delicacy.

i just feel bad about some people being married to asians but they are the first ones to discriminate them and their traditions.... what a sad story...

I have had rabbit, and it wasn't that bad.
I'm not discriminating against my wifes traditions, she despised the tradition also, so, just repeating what she taught me.

I have had rabbit, tame and wild cotton tail, and big difference, tame rabbit is awful. I have had pigeon when I was a kid and was delicious. A friends mother cooked pigeon pie, his brothers got them at night in barns and under bridges. Squirrel dumplings are great, and don't tell my pet gray squirrel that. I have a 6 mo. old gray my dog found in the yard almost dead in sept. she was the size of a small chipmunk then. There are those who eat opossum, coons and ground hogs and they say delicious.

Cats and dogs as far as I am concerned are taboo. And the crap eating dogs! A neighbors dog used to carry the dirty diapers they tossed out onto my lawn and lay there eating them. Must have been an asian dog!

And then there are those who eat bugs and worms and it makes my skin crawl just thinking about that.
