Just wondering g if there is a difference in the CDI's? I've seen blue ones, and orange ones on eBay. Do they do the same functions? Thanks.

I had a dealer tell me once to get the orange because it was more durable, not that it made the bike faster. Some of them have variable advance options, that might help performance some. Just read the description, it'll tell you what it does different, if at all. Sprocket used to say get NCY CDIs, they had better capacitors. He was no dummy. Rich

The only thing I noticed is he had that scooter timed pretty retarded by the F mark.

in most cases its the packaging , there is a variable timing cdi that that makes a difference . You can find it on my site NYCscooterparts.com

John sent me an orange small CDI, and ever since that day my bike has acted like a speed bike..or something. To this day I have no idea why that small orange CDI made such a huge difference for me, but trust me, it made a difference for me.
