well, i figured out what was wrong... after a complete teardown, i discovered why the whole thing moves fore and aft so much. THE FORWARD BUMPER ON THE BUMPER ARM IS ALMOST BROKE THE HELL OFF. not just the rubber, the actual metal! anyone got a spare motor mount? the frame itself is also bent. the front upright is slightly tweaked, as is the fork tube, and the triple tree. i am seriously looking at that suzuki k-10 front end, but alas there is no provision for the brake caliper. and unless i build it as a chopper it looks as if it may be a bit too tall as its meant for a large wheel scoot. anyone got a front end they can donate? info was great bashan, but now i must start over. im not sure this thing is worth fixing back to original. looks like its going to be all custom from here.

dude, please dont take anything i say too seriously. the age thing, i only meant you usually see an "older" person like 65+ crowd riding these. not sayin its not for you. obviously you like it
and i was serious about rockin the landspeeder thing, i would totally do that if it were my scoot lol. i would get an igloo drink cooler, cut it in half and add hinges and a lock, and put LED's in the back like jet exhaust and a fan in the front to mimic a jet engine. that totally popped in my head when i saw your scoot
seriously i was kidding, take it easy guys! I KID I KID!

good for her. Its one thing to take a test and do poorly, some children that are smart don't take tests well, but to answer four questions and say "I ain't gunna do da rest of dis stupid test" is ignorance and its about time parents start taking responsibility for their children's education. If school is the only place you learned anything you are bound to come out pretty damn stupid.

Hate to tell you buddy, but it is that hideous. I wouldn't be so excited about slapping some autozone fog lights on your plastic sled. I'm glad they work well for you but unless you mounted or recessed them in some clever way, they are just autzone fogs you slapped on. Also would be good to wash your sled before you take pictures of it. Since your before pics are nice and shiny and your after pics... well I thought it was "after" a crash. If you really take pride in your... jetski with wheels then you should give it a bathbefore you show it off. Personally I would startpainting bits of it equipment grey, add some neat looking hoses and conduit piping, and a big cylinder cargo box on the tail made to look like a jet engine, and tell everyone its a movie extra for star wars as a landspeeder. Just my 0.02

ok, this is the part i deff need to know.... where the red arrow is on the first pic, where you point to the bolt your wife helped you with... where the two rubber bumpers are.... IS THAT? i realize its the upper motor mount but im having trouble visualizing how it works, can you put a blown up pic of that? is that motor mount, the one with the big arch in it supposed to move back and forth alot? mine moves ALOT and it seems like it lets the whole motor "swingarm" move fore and aft... is this because something is worn out in mine? thanks again! OH btw, i was going to say lithium grease is probably fine for the bearings, but i would recommend a molydeum grease.... its a bit thicker and probably do better in the long run

that would be pretty hard to dismount a tire in an emergency. however i could see this being useful on a show car with vintage tires... but thats about the only application i could see it being useful. that and maybe a lawnmower tire lol

did you happen to measure the neck on your scoot? this fork stem says 6.5 inches. something tells me the scoot is taller... just to make it a pain. i bet its thicker on this thing too. either way i think i might just skip trying to customize something that might be broke anyway. i mean i might take it apart and see if things are truly bent or just loosened and rotated...

is that 28 dollars WITH the front fork shocks? that would be kinda hard to beat... but the question is, is the center tube the same diameter as to fit in the stock bearings? wow that kinda throws me off because i already had a pretty good idea of what i was going to do..... but for 28 dollars it might be more cost effective, even if more difficult, to adapt these forks...
that and im not sure if where my front shocks clamp isnt bent....
oh and thanks bashan for the explaination and pics! ur the man! its sounds like you might be interested in my modifications i am planning since we basically have the same scooter (jonway adventure 150)
