i listen to tunes when riding until my phone battery dies. i dont keep it loud enough to drown out horns or my own motor tho... my motor is pretty loud tho.
i dont find it distracting because i dont pay more attention to the music more than my surroundings. i am constantly looking about for other drivers, and coppers. habit
when driving i look at everything... even down to the movements of people's heads checking their mirrors to change lanes (while cutting me off) it has saved me many times paying attention to people's movements more than the turn signals they dont bother using.
radio is a secondary thing. i never pay more attention to what song is on. roads are for driving. i do like to have a bumpin stereo tho. its not like my stereo is going to be any worse than anyone in a new car that cannot hear anything outside of their soundproofed rolling mansions.

i hope they are because i dont really see how what i said could have been taken that way... I see your point, just it was a little fuzzy? But give the Chinese a little more time, they just like years ago when the Japanese were new at it are making progress. And with the situation in Japan the Chinese will be even further called upon.

I lost one end of it, so I don't know the overall length. if you read it, it will make more sense. is it a 150cc? i have a broken cable on my 150cc jonway that may be basically the same scoot, i could measure it for you. pics of your scoot?

i think the rampage is more than 1/4 not sure tho. problem i have with cables, they are made of strands of steel that by themselves arent that strong. together they are only slightly stronger. im sure they are stronger the bigger you get but i also disike how big cable isnt easy to store or wrap, wants to make its own shape. the chain goes where i put it!

typical china welding. believe it or not but i bet every single one looks JUST like that bc i bet the jig they make them in was poorly built. my handlebars on my higher quality chinabike (benelli) look like this. then again they arent supposed to show! any plans for the 50cc motor? i could use somethin like that to make a bicycle style scoot look at me havent even got the project(s) im on done and i want to start another!

most of those fan scoops dont extend enough to really get at any air. maybe a whole 90 degree bend would grab air better, but would put more drag on the fan at idle.
also beware, cutting the middle of the vent out opens up space for rocks to enter your fan housing and possibly getting stuck, damaging the fan or your stator. cut with caution. i would at least run some sort of screen
alley, also you would only pull hot exhaust air when sitting still as well. moving at all would eliminate that.
jhbiez- cowl induction works bc of the air hitting the windshield. turning the scoop around on your fan shroud would actually help PULL air AWAY from the fan causing more issues.
