I noticed something : I would recheck each wire including the green . You must have the black negative grounded on the frame. Not on the green wire. That could explain the non readings your getting on your meter as seen in your photos. Please recheck the previous diagram aswell . willc.

What , you don't like a fully lit up Menorah while munching on nice greasy hot potato latkes with apple sauce on top of it ? There is too much commercialization these days at this time of the year for me. Just my 2 cents worth ! willc.

I think you said your helmet hit in the accident didn't you Will? Think what might have happened. I wear a 3/4 and a full face, it just depends on the temps. I think a good 3/4 is fine although a full face is obviously better protection. If I hadn't had that helmet on, with me being on blood thinners I may not be here now ! This was my 3rd time putting down a scooter. This time I walked away ( still hurting like hell on my right side for the last week and a half) .I hit the ground on my right side both in Dec 2012 and 2014 . My helmet also hit the ground very hard both times but cushioned the impact to my head. A life saver in both accidents. The helmet will be retired because of the impacts its taken the last 2 accidents. Simply put wear one or end up in the ER or morgue ! It's your choice ! willc.

What's the coldest weather you have ever ridden your scoot or motorcycle in ? Personally , I have done so on the scoot and on an older Suzuki GS-250 well below the freezing mark. My personal experience : First your fingers hurt like hell , then bit by bit they slowly go numb , then finally you can't feel a d@%* thing from the hand down ! At that point I then ask myself why did I ( the idiot that I am) chose to scoot than drive in a nice warm toasty car that has the heater up high ! It figures as much ! willc.

Lesson learned : always no matter what check your blind spots when turning even when you think there will be no vehicles there. There might just be !! Arm still hurts as does the hip abit. It may be a week or more till my body stop's giving me a reminder about what I did to it last week ! willc.

Hi guys ( and Gals) . I'm still bruised up good on my right side and will be for a while. Primarily on the right hip and upper thigh . The road rash on my right arm is what hurts the most at the moment. That will take abit longer to heal up. I now have matching road rash to go with my right knee that I got 18 years ago in a minor motorcycle accident . That accident I put down the bike while turning onto a road. The intersection had loose gravel and my wheels went out from underneath me ! My advice is watch and double check where your turning so you don't run into someone like I did Thursday ! Someone might be there that you don't expect them to be. willc.

The weather was much more cooperative this afternoon. I didn't have or take time to shoot pics . I was able to pull the crankcase half off , remove the circlip , gears and inspect the driveshaft. The driveshaft was ok. The cruciform was defiantly toast ! all 4 ends were rounded. the threading inside the mounting hole were pretty much intact. As soon as I find the cruciform I'll try to get a picture taken. Tomorrow I should be back up and going once I get the stator and flywheel back on the scoot. More to come . willc.
