have to say there is alot of things that went wrong with this build but the aditude that steve came off with has made me passionate about the way i feel and that if this is the way cases are bored out from them i will not buy from them

yes your wiring will have something to do with the charging look in the tech section and you should be able to find a wiring diagram for your bike have you check the fuses and the grounds that is where i would start and if everthing is ok then i would test the stator

i use the motorcycle oil for the reason it is designed for an air cool motor most auto motors are water cooled so they dont need an oil that will take the extra heat from the motor like an air cool motor

i thank everyone for their thoughts on this it is IMO that the case was not machine right and that would cause the skirt of the cylinder to deform and that would cause the piston to break it could have slip in with no prblems and after warming up force the cylinder to deform as al and steel will expan at def. rates

Yea you have had an expensive learning curve on your old motor but i know with the right parts and atention to the details you can build one that will make everyone here proud to have

it is very simple you will need to remove the plastic panels around the switch unplug the old switch and bolt on the new one

if you have reason you will agree that that case was not bore correct and you will post pics of a new case that is bore so we can see the def.
