you need to lean forward on start off the little puff of smoke i think will go away as the rings seat in good i suggest going with an 11 pole stator setup to keep the battery charged up and the variator i beleive Alley will be better able to help there

i am a menber of all the above mention forums and i will bounce back and forth all of them i try to help any and all and for the most part i find that most menbers of the forums do the same what ever has happen to start all of the problems is beyand me and i can care less i did see that in the last few months of the SD site that most of it was just not worth my time so i went to the other forums i say let what has happen in the past stay in the past and move on

i did not say it was good for the motor all i said was it was good to get rid of bugs
