good info Bashan you still have to have the correct R/R for the stator you are using or you will have problems with charging and lights that run of the stator

the wheels that are for rear disc does not have the steal ring in the drum area so the rear brake shoes will not rub the inside of the drum and the spacer can be def depending on which swing arm you have

that might be a floating ground stator if your old stator is grounded the new one will not work with the R/R you need to set the 2 of them side beside each other and look for anything that is def. use a DMM to test the ohms of each wire to the rest and to ground which would be the metal part in the middle

have you taken ohm readings of the stator you may have a broken wire in it and something you need to check is it wired the same as the old stator if not it will not work right

you will need to sand the shine off with 400 to 600 grit wet/dry paper with lots of water and a little dish soap to keep the paper from glogging up

bore will increase hp and stroke will increase torque you will want more torque i lived in the upstate part of SC when i was growing up and know what you are talking about with the hills i am thinking of doing a build with the spare motor going with a +3 crank and 62mm BBK that will give me and displacement of about 190cc the +3 means 3mm longer stroke than stock

was thinking the same as Alley just ask and if you have a spare plug change it out as the one in there now is most likely fouled out with gas
