Hey guys. My tail light and remote start stopped working at the same time. Everything else works fine. All lights work good. Bike will start with the electric start but the remote start won't start it. Alarm works. And the tail light does not come on at all. Any help with this? Would it be a fuse that works for both?

I couldn't tell you the exact amount Alley. But When I start going up a hill if I'm crusing on a straight doing 33mph, I could dip down probably to around 21-25mph when I start going up the hill. I was thinking of getting a performance clutch but what would be the best for the cheapest price available? I seen a black one with everything, 1500-2000rpm springs in it for like $70 shipped.

The Rim is fine. Not sure how I could tell though to be honest with you. I was thinking if that sound is coming from the inside of the CVT. Like maybe its the stock clutch? Or the belt making that feeling? Not to sure about it. I heard the TaoTaos don't come with the tires balanced. Not sure about that either. I mean other then that, it rides fine. But that vibration feeling seems more like you feel it when the scooter is going uphill or any means of starting to ride a little uphill compared to a straight flat road.

Hey guys. I got this vibration going on at higher speeds. It's not constant but it seems like it comes and goes like in a 3 second timeframe. It's not loud and the whole bike doesn't shake. Handle bars don't shake. I feel it under my seat. Checked motor mounts. Checked lot of bolts and exhaust. All is tight. It's a TaoTao 50. Never had the rear wheel balanced. Maybe its that?
Any experience with this anyone? Thank you

Also. Where do I look for the motor mounts so I can make sure all the bolts are tight. I'm also gonna check the exhaust bolts.

I must say that if they put Synthetic in it, then you must keep putting Synthetic in it. That's the oil that once you put that in there, you have to keep using synthetic. I use Mobile 1 10W40 Synthetic oil.

I had my Dad ride it the other day. When he came back, he said its probably the CVT Belt that makes that feeling. Its not something you can hear, its more of a feeling like from the belt he said. Is it possible that maybe the CVT belt is not tight enough? Which I don't know how it would affect that. Alley what do you think?

I'm gonna check them out. Thanks Alley. I also installed the Koso variator today. Seems a lot better. More smooth riding and better acceleration.
I was thinking of maybe starting to tune the carb. Someone told me that since I changed the exhaust, I should have a bigger jet in the carb. My carb is sealed. Any suggestions on What you think is good?

It's actually more of a vibration then a grinding. Like a smooth vibrating sensation.

I think it is and might be the ratting of the weights. Remember when I had those 8gram weights in? It didn't seem to do that. Maybe its because of the lighter weights that's happening?
Im also going to purchase the Koso Variator. Saw that you have one and said that its good.

Hey Guys.
I am noticing a grinding sensation in the drivetrain when riding at times. Not all the time. Its like a smooth grind that's not really hard. But it like goes in and out for a bit. Then sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. It has to be coming from the drivetrain. Any ideas of what that might be?
TaoTao 50cc has a stock variator and clutch. Dr. Pulley 5gram slider weights installed and aftermarket exhaust. But I feel the sensation in the drivetrain at times.

Siders are better then rollers? Thanks for that tip. Alley thanks for the website. That's a little pricey for me at the moment for a tach lol. I have to see if I want to get into this as much for the moment.

Where's the cheapest place to get a tach? And the roller weights are better then slider weights? I put the sliders in my scooter now. But i have the same 5 gram Dr. Pulley weights on the side.

I have an aftermarket exhaust so no need to drill the holes in it. But this spring talk might be to much for me to accomplish lol
