Of all of the brake switches I've seen, the external circuit is closed mechanically, by pulling the brake lever and fluid compression should not be a factor. Pay special attention to the kill and start switches and the starter connections. Heres what mine looked like inside! Uh oh! an electrical question, I'll zip my lips on that one and let someone else chime in. You'll want to post some identifying info on your scoot , it'll better your chances for getting the help you need. I hope ya get her going real soon, cloudsifter !

Thanks, rks ! I've been looking for an app like that, that works, I'll try it!! Will try yours out too bob123456789 . I've been using SLACKER radio on my phone to play my music of choice to my helmets bluetooth. I like it much better than Pandora, too many ads and unrelated music, for my tastes. Also, have been using FUELIO to track my fill ups, gas cost and averages. Only two fill ups recorded so far so, no average yet.

Hiya Rosie! As most in here know, I'm no expert to electrical circuits but want to encourage you. I've had meters for many years and have never incurred or created a danger or, shorted anything out. It's just a matter of using the selector for what you are testing. Watch a few tutorials on youtube, I still do when my head gets turned around about it. I'm sure some peeps with experienced , clear minds will chime in to give you trustworthy direction but, here are some vids that set me strait when my thinking needs it THE BEST Multimeter tutorialThe red one in this vid is the "free with coupon" meter from Harbor Freight and does most of the basic functions. I have a few of them... link

Ahhh okay. I was thinking that the relay wouldnt pull any more than the accessories pulled through it. I'm grateful for the heads up. So, back to a switch for all three, tapped into the ignition wire. I'll head back to my drawing board (I've got to see the circuit laid out to think it through). I'll check back. Thanks, fellas!

I'm planning on installing my bank of accessory ports to run only when the bike is running. Electrical circuits make my head go extra berserk so, I should check this with anyone savvy on this type of thing. I want to be extra careful on this or, not to install it at all. I'm planning on using a relay instead of a switch (30A). I also bought a fuse block to use since, I don't want everything fused at 15A , but I do for the 12V port (On good recommendation of some of my friends in here). I'm guessing at a 3A each, for the other two ports ? I'm questioning whether the first fuse at the battery is even necessary? What do you think of the wire routing that I worked up here? Please, notice that I'm not sure about proper ground routing for the accessory contacts, if it does matter. Thanks folks, for any help!

Well, I did see one once on Ebay but, didn't need one at the time. Now, I can't find one, no matter where I look. Perhaps, it's floating around here or, in my driveway.

Lol, cyborg ,scandalous! Great suggestions guys. Actually, my neighbor OFFERED his to me but, I just couldn't accept it from him. I wouldn't have felt good about it. I'll keep on the lookout a while, and make something for now. After all we went through to get it looking new and running well, ya know?

So, I lost somehow, the left side air inlet panel off my scoot. I checked all of our sponsors, then Amazon , Ebay, google. No go. My neighbors Lance Touring 250cc has the same part as my Jonway 150cc so, I tried with that info too.Does anyone know of anywhere that carries it?
